The Boteco Princesa, which opened recently in Leblon, is the new bet of chef Pedro de Artagão, one of the most renowned names in Rio’s gastronomy. Boteco Princesa is a charming and laid-back place, with a decoration that mixes Portuguese and Carioca elements, and a menu that brings classic Brazilian cuisine dishes with a special touch.
The atmosphere is extremely lively, the service very friendly, the food fantastic and the price very fair. I have already returned several times, the carne seca is delicious, the duck risotto perfect, the picadinho and the Oswaldo Aranha steak also excellent. And to finish, the torta de natas surprised. The best deal for drinking is to order the batida da casa, the passion fruit one was great. Boteco Princesa also has an executive lunch from Monday to Thursday, with starter + main course + dessert for R$68. During the weekend the mood changes, queues are long and extremely lively, with many people drinking while waiting. I’m already crazy to go back and try other menu options!
